ROSALIND WELCH
Rosalind (Roz) Welch, a strategic community servant, is a native Louisvillian and 2002 graduate of the historic Central High School. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky. She completed her Master of Public Administration at the University of Louisville.
Tapping into her passion for politics and social action, Roz has served as a Campaign Treasurer, Field Director, and Manager. She is currently the 46th Legislative District Chair for Kentucky Democratic Party, and the co-chair of the Louisville Democratic Party’s largest fundraiser.
Rosalind was elected in 2021 to serve as President of the Louisville Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc and re-elected in 2023. She is the eldest child of Charlene and Jimmie Welch, Jr, and the proud godmother to 7 energetic and hilarious future leaders.
